Downloads
This is a little collection of stuff that's floating around on my server-space.
- Libcoman
- A library to read and write .ini-style configuration files. I got this package from Mandrake 8.2. It seems to be pretty obscure: there's no project page on SourceForge or FreshMeat, and Google only gives a few results, none of which seem to point to a download link. Note that this is an old package now, and I am making no intention to maintain it — it is only here because very old Schism Tracker versions used it. Schism now uses its own .ini library; being the author of this, I naturally recommend it. :)
- Module Indexer
- A simple little Windows program I wrote a long, long time ago. It recurses through a directory structure looking for module files and makes an index which can be written to an HTML file. For a while I had intentions to rewrite this decently and cross-platform, but I have since then given up on it completely because of its limited use.
- cgiform.py
- A wrapper around Python's cgi.FieldStorage() that gives normalized Unicode, better file support, and a cleaner interface.
- pymod.py
- Hack of a .mod player with pure Python. Requires libao for sound. This isn't meant to be useful, just technically interesting.
- Notch.pcf
- My X11 port of ZaStaR's "notch" font for Impulse Tracker. Useful mostly (only?) for running IT in Dosemu.
- Player abuse tests (updated: 2005-05-27)
- Acid tests for an IT-capable player: a handful of simple IT files that use obscure features which are frequently unimplemented or broken. Useful for determining the level and quality of Impulse Tracker compatibility in a module player. Each test comes in .it form, accompanied with a .wav file written with the IT 2.14 disk writer.
- Psychedelia
- Trippy image I made with The Gimp. (Note: gzipped to prevent abusive hotlinking by idiots. Host your files on your own space, people.)
- Systems Programming with mIRC
- Inspired by Something Awful's Real College Textbooks.
- Channel 6 news rocks!
- A car chase every night, or the weather girl wears a tube top! And if she doesn't, you win a pizza! Funniest Simpsons clip ever, IMHO of course. ;) 972kb, 18 seconds, DivX 5 AVI.
- ZeldaC.nes
- Challenge Games hack of the Legend of Zelda. Standard disclaimer: don't download this unless you actually have a copy of the Legend of Zelda, and therefore are legally allowed to own the ROM. (Of course, saying this won't stop anybody, but hey, at least I tried.)
- Zelda C map and notes
- Overworld map and spoiler-guide for the aforementioned game. Not quite complete because I keep forgetting to update it. (I know, I suck.)
